On Saturday, 6th of May, 2017, In the presence of Mr. Farhad Amin Atrushi, Governor of Dohuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin Abdi Jamil, President of the University of Zakho and many heads of Duhok Universities. The Scientific Innovation Exhibition was inaugurated by UNDP, with the participation of students from five universities of Duhok, in Duhok Mall.
At the beginning, the attendees take a tour in the exhibition field to see the scientific innovations that presented. After watching the changes of students and teachers, Mr. Farhad Amin Atrushi valued the efforts of the students and teachers and asked them to continue with these distinctive scientific innovations that benefit to the Kurdistan Region. On the other hand, he thanked the UNDP for their outstanding efforts in opening the exhibition.
It is worth mentioning that, the 75 projects with the 200 teachers and students from different universities participated in the show, including University of Zakho, University of Dohuk, Nowroz University, Duhok Polytechnic University and Ceyhan University.
It should be noted that the University of Zakho was participating in the Innovation Expo with the 15 different projects.
